Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years and has seen many, many, many successes. A newer method of treating pain and musculoskeletal conditions called dry needling looks like it is a version of acupuncture. But actually the two are quite different. Each has its own place and can be very helpful but it can be confusing what is good for what. Today, Dr. Nedd will cover:
- What acupuncture is, when and where it came from, and the basic principles behind how it works.
- The differences between acupuncture and acupressure and what each is good for.
- What kinds of conditions has the Dr seen improve when acupuncture is used to balance the body’s energy channels.
- What is dry needling, how does it differ from acupuncture and what is it good for.
