In past episodes, Dr. Nedd mentioned the Narconon program as being the one that most aligns with his philosophy on dealing with the body when it comes to drug and alcohol rehab programs. When I was in practice, this was the program I recommended because it doesn’t just substitute one drug for another and because it addresses all the factors that cause the addiction in the first place. It is a complete approach that doesn’t just deal with addiction, it improves the person’s overall health as well as their ability to get along with others and contribute to society. In this episode our Special Guest, Justin Pitts from Narconon Suncoast, will cover:
- Why the Narconon program first addresses the nutritional deficiencies, diet and lack of sleep that most addicts experience.
- How the Narconon program was different than the other drug rehab programs he went through. A big difference (not the only one) was it helped him conquer his addiction while the other ones didn’t.
- Why the long-term storage of drug residue in fat tissue can make it hard to ever stop using drugs, and how that gets handled in this program.
- How the loss of self-respect a drug or alcohol addict interferes with their progress and what is done to restore it.
- What kind of results do Narconon students achieve as compared to the results of other drug rehabilitation programs.

Knee injuries can definitely take you out of the game and make normal activities of daily living more difficult. So fully rehabilitating a knee is very important. Both athletes and average, everyday people can need knee rehabilitation but when done incorrectly you can end up with instability not only in the knee, but also in other parts of the body from there on up. In this episode, Dr. Nedd will cover:

We’ve done episodes discussing the various recreational drugs and their effects on health. In this episode, Darren Tessitore will cover:
Steve Lund is trained in a specialized form of massage therapy that isn’t just done to feel more relaxed (although that is one of the results you’ll get). Working with clients to improve their muscle and joint function using a variety of techniques, he gets some astonishing results. In this episode, Steve Lund will cover:
None of us want to be in a situation where someone’s life might be in our hands, but sometimes we don’t have a choice. If you’re around someone who is having a medical emergency, would you know what to do? I’m sure if the shoe was on the other foot, you’d want the other person to be willing and able to help you. In this episode, Dr. Nedd will cover:
Do you know what your rights are as a patient? When in a hospital is there anything you can do if you don’t want to take the drug or have the surgery the hospital doctor says have need? This vital episode covers your most important rights as a patient that you may not hear about elsewhere. In this episode, Dr. Nedd will cover:
You may have heard people talk about it. We discussed it in our episode on Dr. Gundry’s Longevity Paradox book. But we never covered it in detail, until this episode. It’s intermittent fasting and it can cause some great improvements in your health. In this episode, Dr. Nedd will cover:
There are dishes made with uncooked meat or fish, like Sushi. Are they safe to eat? What do you need to know about these dishes to protect your health? Dr. Nedd will cover:
Parasites can get into your body through what you eat or animals you’re around. They can affect your health without you even knowing they are there. Most doctors don’t think to check for them and less than diligent testing will miss them. Dr. Nedd will cover:
